Rosethorn Tennis Club is a community-based club located in Etobicoke, Ontario close to main intersections Kipling Avenue and Rathburn Road, with 3 hard courts that are lit at night until 11 pm from May to October inclusive.

Membership 2019

Adult membership at Rosethorn Tennis Club is open to all residents of the City of Toronto, with priority given to renewing members and members of the Rosethorn community. The maximum Adult membership is 310. Junior membership (under 18 years old) is unlimited and is available as part of a Family Membership OR by completing the Junior Membership Application Form.

Shot Selections Junior Academy Program 2019 

Registration for Junior members who wish to participate in the After School and Summer Camp programs will be available court-side via our Court Monitor at the beginning and end of each camp session. Juniors who have not yet registered as a Rosethorn member as part of a Family Membership bundle must complete & submit the following court-side (no junior-only online registrations).

Completing Your Membership Application:

There are 2 steps to completing your registration which are:

A. Adult/Family Registration and Payment

B. Event Registration

FOR NEW APPLICANTS:

  1. Go to http://rosethorntennis.com/join-us and click on the MEMBERSHIP WAITLIST link to add yourself to the waitlist.
  2. If the 310 adult membership limit has not been reached by March 1st, waitlisted individuals will be contacted via email notification according to their order on the wait list as per the number of membership spots available. You will then be able to register by logging into the website with your email address and password. For first-time login, click on the Forgot password link to set your password.
  3. Once logged in, click on the human icon on the top right corner of the page and select View Profile.
  4. On the Membership Details page, verify that the Membership level is correct (Adult Membership, Adult Membership (2 Adults), or Family Membership). If this is incorrect, send an email to membership@rosethorntennis.com to have it changed to your desired level. Ensure that you read and agree to the Terms and Conditions of the Club. 
  5. Click on the "View/Pay Invoice" button or the "Invoices and payment" link to proceed with payment. When you click on the "Pay online" button, this will redirect you to pay through PayPal by logging in with your existing PayPal account, or paying with credit or Visa Debit card via PayPal (PayPal account not required). If you wish to pay by Email Money Transfer (EMT), follow the EMT instructions.
  6. For online payments (except EMT), membership will automatically be confirmed. For EMT payments, payment will need to be manually reviewed, confirmed, and activated on the system by the Membership Director. Membership is finalized once Membership status shows "Active" in your profile.
  7. Once your Membership status is Active, you will have access to update your profile and/or add an additional adult member (for Family Membership bundle or Adult Membership (2 Adults) bundle). Each adult member (registered individually or within a bundle) will require a unique email address. For Junior Family members (under 18), there is no need to create a separate account for each of them. In the profile of the Family Membership bundle administrator, fill out the Junior Member fields with the name of the junior players, gender, and birthday that will be registered as part of the Family Membership bundle. If there are more than four junior players in your family, you can add more by separating with a comma in the 4th Junior Member field. 
  8. To sign up for the club activities, click on the Events menu and click on the Register button for each event. Please note that once you click Register, you will not be able to unregister for the event. If you registered for an event in error, please send an email to membership@rosethorntennis.com. Take note that for some activities, there will be two registration lists – one with a “Max” which is the full-time list, and one indicated as “SUBS LIST ONLY” – ensure that you pick which one applies to you. To review which events you have registered, go to your Profile (click on the human icon on the top right corner of the web page) and go to My event registrations which recaps all registrations.

FOR RENEWING MEMBERS starting Feb 1st:

  1. Go to http://rosethorntennis.com/Sys/Login and login with your email address and password. For first-time login, click on the Forgot password link to set your password. Please note that each adult member under the same family will require a unique email address (no separate profile required for Junior Family Members - see step 4 on how to add junior members). While your Membership status is "Lapsed", the bundle administrator will not be able to view the family members in their bundle, however each adult family member can still modify their own profile by logging in with their unique email address and password.
  2. Once logged in, click on the human icon on the top right corner of the page and select View Profile.
  3. On the Membership Details page, verify that the Membership level is correct. Click on the Change hyperlink to switch it from the different options (Adult Membership, Adult Membership (2 Adults), or Family Membership) if need be. If you have a bundled membership and wish to switch to a single Adult Membership, you will need to remove the existing bundled members from your profile first in order to allow the system to let you switch to the single Adult Membership. Once the new Membership level is saved, or if no change to the Membership level is required, click on the blue button “RENEW TO 1 FEB 20xx” to proceed. 
  4. Update and review your profile registration details, and ensure that you have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions of the Club, then click on “UPDATE AND NEXT”. Complete all required fields for your profile in order to continue with renewal and access event registration. The profile for other adult members in your bundle can only be viewed/modified after payment selection (step 5) is completed. For Junior Family members (under 18), there is no need to create a separate account for each of them. In the profile of the Family Membership bundle administrator, fill out the Junior Member fields with the name of the junior players, gender, and birthday that will be registered as part of the Family Membership bundle. If there are more than four junior players in your family, you can add more by separating with a comma in the 4th Junior Member field
  5. When the "Review and confirm" page comes up, you will be presented with the options “INVOICE ME” and “PAY ONLINE”. If you wish to pay by PayPal, click on the PAY ONLINE button. This will redirect you to pay through PayPal by logging in with your existing PayPal account, or paying with credit or Visa Debit card via PayPal (PayPal account not required). If you wish to pay by Email Money Transfer (EMT), click on the INVOICE ME button. Note: If you do not pay right away, the system may automatically email you an Invoice, however if you still wish to use any of the online payment options via PayPal, you may go back in to your profile and continue with the online payment.
  6. To sign up for the club activities, click on the Events menu and click on the Register button for each event. Membership Status in each adult member's online profile will be "Pending - Renewal" (for renewing members) or "Pending - New" (for new applicants) until payment is confirmed received from the Individual member or the Bundle administrator. Both adult family members (as applicable) will each receive an email confirmation once the membership registration process has been successfully completed, and your membership status in your online profile will be set to "Active". Please note that EMT payments will need to be manually acknowledged, while other payment options will be automatic.

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL YOUR FEES HAVE BEEN RECEIVED. SHOE TAGS AND REGISTRATION PACKAGES WILL BE MAILED OUT BY APRIL 2Oth. If your shoe tag is lost and a replacement is required, please contact the Membership Director at membership@rosethorntennis.com. Replacement fees will apply.
